About Janice
I started Uchi Design, Inc. in 1995 based on my belief that “fabric is the key to a beautiful home.”
I moved to Delaware from New York City, where I worked in the fashion industry for 12 years. My time spent with designers, specifically evening wear designer Tadashi Shoji, gave me an extensive knowledge of fabric. My experience in fashion sparked my passion for interior design.
